A civil ceremony by the lake, a church wedding in Lienz or a couple shoot in a summer meadow overlooking the Dolomites: I photograph your wedding in a relaxed, unobtrusive and natural way – just as you are.
As a photographer from East Tyrol I know the most beautiful spots in the region and when the light is at its best. Planning an alpine wedding in Austria from abroad? I'm happy to help with locations and timing. Besides weddings, I also photograph christenings and family celebrations.

Your wedding portrait on a wet plate
A wedding picture that exists only once: with my 120-year-old wooden camera I expose an aluminium plate hand-coated with silver and develop it on site in a darkroom. The result is a one-of-a-kind image on metal, made with exactly the same process as in 1850.
Questions about wedding photography
Where do you photograph weddings?
In Lienz and all over East Tyrol – at the registry office, in church, by a lake or in an alpine meadow. Also happy to travel to Carinthia, South Tyrol and the rest of Tyrol.
Do you also photograph christenings and family celebrations?
Yes. As well as weddings, I also cover christenings and other special family occasions.
Can we get a wet plate collodion image of our wedding?
Yes – and it's something really special. With my 120-year-old wooden camera I create a wedding picture on a metal plate, just as in 1850. Every plate is one of a kind.
How early should we get in touch?
The earlier the better – especially for Saturdays in summer. Send me your date and venue and I'll let you know if I'm available.
