Extreme sports photography from Lienz, East Tyrol: freeride, climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking and events. I'm a mountain athlete myself and shoot where the action happens.

Great sports photos aren't taken from the side of the trail. Because I'm out on snow, ice, rock and the bike myself, I can go into the terrain with you – onto the rope next to the climber, onto the cornice above the freerider or into the glacier cave.

I shoot for athletes who need images for sponsors and social media, for outdoor brands and magazines, for organisers of competitions such as the KIOT Bouldercup or the Dolomitenmann in Lienz – and for anyone who wants their sport captured properly for once.

Do you also cover events and competitions?

Yes, for example the KIOT Bouldercup in Lienz or the Dolomitenmann. For organisers I deliver images for press, sponsors and social media.

Do you go into the mountains and onto the ice in winter too?

Especially then. Frozen waterfalls, glacier caves, deep powder and summits – I'm a mountain athlete myself and move safely in the terrain.
